Many a writer will say they have writer’s block, but I really don’t believe in that. I do believe in fear of writing, and for whatever reason I have contracted that towards my project. Every time I think of writing, something steers me away from it, telling me to get away far away from this project. But that is near impossible.
I may have some fear now, but I still think about my project 24/7. I see little things every day that remind me of my story, inspiration comes at me like bricks falling from the sky. But something stays my hand. It stops my fingers from clicking on the icon of my project and opening it. I opened it briefly, and fear lanced through me like a thunderbolt. My heart started fluttering, rapidly beating inside my chest, warning me against typing.
Like most fears, I need to face them. Possibly do some inner speculation. But I need to face this project and write a bit everyday. Reading can only fill the void for so long.
