Bangs

The bane of my existence sometimes. I can never seem to get rid of them, and cutting them is not an option. It’s a short-term solution, but not the long-term. They will grow back eventually and be back in my eyes. Now I have to wait for them to grow out, and they seem to be taking forever. The rest of my hair grows faster than the speed of light it seems, but gravity seems to have no affect on these bangs of mine.

If it wasn’t so cold outside, I would be very tempted to shave myself bald to get rid of these flowing, ginger locks. But than I would be right back in this predicament of half-grown hair. Hair that is too short to be pulled into a decent pony-tail but long enough to get in the way. Thankfully the rest of my hair is long enough to be pulled back into a pony-tail/ bun when I need too. Which is usually all the time.

I love my hair for its color, but hair itself, no. I sometimes wish I could do that thing that Ares does in Sinbad Legend of the Seven Seas. Her hair is all floaty and stays out of her face, oh what heaven. Instead, I’m stuck with these locks that only obey gravity when it suits them, and constantly are getting in my eyes. This creates a problem when I am trying to write, do homework, or read, since I kind of need my eyes. Just a little. Though I have found through trial and error that I do my best work with my hair up. Too bad my bangs can’t be included in that up-do, but they will be soon enough. I just need to wait and plot.
